Tutorial: How to install bar end mirrors on my bike?

You're tired with your "normal" side mirrors? It's time for a change!
We'd like to give you some tips on installing bar end mirrors.

We have two models of bar end mirrors which are a little bit different but you can still apply the logic to your bar end mirror.

Magazi Classic bar end mirrors

Firstly, take off the internal bar expander mounts that will be plugged in the handle bar. There's a rubber cap covered on it, don't throw it away just yet if your have 1" handlebar, the rubber cap helps giving more friction so that the mirror won't vibrate or even loose under high speed riding.

The same side of the rubber cap (the left hand side) is the nut and the bolt is in the opposite side from the rubber cap (the right hand side.) You might need to pay attention to how you take them off, because we'll need to put them back quite in the same way later.

Then separate 13 mm and 17 mm adapters. (You don't really need to separate them. The reason we do it is because we want to show you there are two adapters.)

There are five pieces in total as you can see in the picture below.

We put the bolt through the hole on the mirror stem straight to the end and press still on the bolt head.

Then we put the two adapters back on the bolt as shown in the second picture below.

Put on and press in the nut a bit to expand the adapters. Noted that the stripes on nut should match the gaps on the adapters. Give the nut plus the adapters a couple of turns making sure that the nut is fasten enough or someone's day might be ruined if it drops in the handle bar. LOL

In this step, depends on the inner width of your handlebar, you could put on the rubber cover. The rubber cover is usually for one inch handle bar, Harley-Davidson for example.

Last step! Temporarily fasten the bolt with an Allen key NOT too tightly, and then fasten the screw after fine-tuning. So we get a whole new look by changing to bar end mirrors now. ;D

Here's the video to help you get a better idea of the whole installation.

You have another choice that is 65N bar end mirrors if you only feel okay not great about the classic mirror. Good news yeah?

Magazi 65N bar end mirrors

Same as Magazi Classic bar end mirrors, Magazi 65N has a plug which cover by a rubber cap too. The bolt heads are a bit different. but the same is DO NOT throw the rubber cap away just now.

Take off the outer plug.

Plug in the bolt all the way down and tighten it with an Allen key.

See the difference the bolt has been tighten before and after.

Now take a look at the mirror. The specialty of 65N bar end mirror is that its base is movable (you can see more clearly in the video) that means the angle of the mirror is changeable. And there is a tiny hole on the mirror base (red circle) for us to fixed the mirror base with a bolt after fastening the mirror base on the plug.

See how tiny it is! So be careful. Sure you don't want to lose it. ;)
Tighten the screw with an Allen key and that'll be done!

Make sure the mirror is fully fixed and adjust to the angle you want. It's all that simple!

Here as usual is a video for you to review the whole process:

Getting a new look for your bike is just that easy! So don't be afraid to take your first step ;)  I'm sure you're gonna love it after actually trying. Because we're bikers, the explorers, right?
